We, The Hacker Within, are a student organization here at UW-Madison. Our main focus is to share and teach skills related to developing software, working on scientific computation codes, and learning good programming practices in general.

From January 12-14, we will be hosting a free workshop on the computer language Python, and we thought that you may have some students who could benefit from such an event. Some information about Python and the workshop below.

• What: Python Bootcamp (Workshop)

• When: January 12-14 (Yes, this is the last week of winter break)

• Where: Mechanical Engineering, Rm. 1106

• Why: To gain a working knowledge of the popular computer language Python and its possible applications
