  • Puneet Kishor has offered to speak about his favorite tool - the Perl Data Language (PDL)
  • Matt Terry has offered to speak about the text editor - VIM
  • Katy Huff really wants to hear about mapping simulation data on a globe. Volunteer with hacker.within.admin@… and pass on your knowledge of geophysical data mapping, plotting data onto google earth with KML, and Python plotting tools for global simulations. Pretty please?
  • Kyle Oliver suggested a meeting on profiling/debugging tools, such as gprof, gdb, ddd, etc...
  • Steve has offered to give an introductory presentation on using Open-GL

  • Stu would like to hear about multilingual (Python, C++, Fortran) coding workflows.

  • Matt is interested in everyone's research. What languages and tools do you use? What's your workflow?
